We’re currently looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team!

Job Description:
The Data Analyst will analyze current and past campaign efforts, query millions of users and their data and identify trends. With the gained insights you will be supporting decisions and presenting findings to various stakeholders.  Does this sound interesting? Responsibilities

  • Understand our business and its various products, translate it’s needs into actionable data analysis and dashboards
  • Collect terabytes of data from different platforms, merge it into data sets, and identify actionable insights
  • Report to the Marketing, User Acquisition & Game Development with statistics
  • Work on new projects and apply cutting edge technology to further improve analytics across departments
  • Be able to present your results

Required Education and Experience

  • Master or bachelor degree in IT, Math or Statistics
  • Minimum 1-3-year experience in an analytical field
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbally
  • Knowledge of R or any other scripting language is a pre
  • You live in The Netherlands (The Hague area)

Mandatory Skills       

  • Excel | Pivot tables, table structure, formula creation
  • SQL | Query writing, query optimization, ability to handle huge databases

Technical Artist – Unity

When there’s an opening at GamePoint, we always look to fill it with the best. We’re currently looking for a motivated Unity UI technical artist to join our team!

Job Description:

  • A creative person with a passion for games who has worked in the gaming (or similar) industry
  • Create UI art assets. You will be given art, background, designs to layout/implement into your UI design.
  • Setup UI and game art in Unity, in the best, most optimal way (Game Objects, Prefabs, REUSABLE art assets/animations, etc.)
  • Optimize graphics and layout for our Unity programmer. Provide instructions as needed for the programmer, or create mockups.
  • Work in close collaboration with the team to understand artistic direction, gameplay intentions and technical capabilities.
  • Knows how to design effective, flexible UI for different resolutions.
  • Ability to mockup interfaces for typical mobile games.

Qualifications:

  • A creative person with a passion for games who has worked in the gaming (or similar) industry
  • Experienced in developing clean, responsive and performant games/applications
  • Knowledge of technical constraints, optimization and implementation
  • Advanced level of proficiency with the Unity game engine & strong knowledge in working with UGUI
  • Big sense of responsibility, commitment and flexibility
  • Be able to prototype, test and implement new features quickly
  • Have a high sense of quality and polish
  • Successfully worked on at least one shipped mobile game
  • Proactive in learning and developing your skills to the next level
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills in English

A portfolio demonstrating all aspects of your skills is required.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience working in an agile project environment.
  • Affinity with casual games.
  • Knowledge of and an interest in usability and freemium best-practices.
  • Experience in user interface design on multiple platforms.
  • Proficiency in building apps for touch and experience implementing smooth and responsive movement and animations.
  • Knowledge of animation, particle systems in Unity and familiarity with animating 2D assets.

Competitive Intelligence Intern

What are you going to do:

The CI Intern will gather, verify (audit) and analyse worldwide social gaming competitive data (micro and macro levels) from which insights can be provided, to help shape product, content, marketing, and economy tactics and strategies. Moreover, the CI manager will also provide benchmarks for main game KPIs, as well as execute research and analysis of breaking news in Gaming and social casino industry.

• Field, analyse, synthesize research data, and produce/present power point reports to provide actionable recommendations for internal clients.
• Compose and present findings of market research to Senior Management Team, Managers Forum, and all internal clients.
• Targeted Research – Completion of ad-hoc assignments for business unit leaders and leadership team

Requirements:
• 1+ years of experience in market research or as a competitive intelligence analyst from related field companies.
• Social Games / Gaming background – a strong plus
• Strong understanding of technologies and digital products, Internet savvy- must
• Highly proficient in written and verbal communication skills in English – must
• Highly analytical, highly proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Structural approach to Data and high attention to details
• Excellent presentation skills
• “People’s person”, initiator, curious, independent

Part-time online Marketing Assistent

As Online Marketing Assistant you will be supporting the Marketing Team. Your mean focus will be setting up, running and monitoring multi-channel advertising campaigns. (mostly Facebook)

GamePoint’s marketing team currently features 4 people and is looking to grow to at least 6 people over the next year. Marketing is centered on:

  • User acquisition: Multi-channel advertising campaigns. Marketing is in charge of setting up and monitoring campaigns.
  • Re-activation of players who played in the past
  • Monetization of the games.

The Assistent has the following qualifications:

  • Fluent in English and Dutch, other European languages are a plus
  • Analytical skills aimed at optimizing campaign results
  • The personality to match the dynamic field of digital media and –entertainment
  • In the progress of completing a Bachelor or Master study in the area of Business, Marketing or Communication.
  • You are happy to assist marketeers with running campaigns on social media as FB, Instagram etc.
